Another fine crowd joined us on Saturday, June 21st at Minas Gallery in Hampden:

Susan Muaddi-Darraj, author of the short story collection The Inheritance of Exile and editor of The Baltimore Review, started us off reading a recent essay. You can hear Susan read her story "sufficing" on The Signal

Rosalia Scalia read her story, "Picking Cicoria," which won first prize in the 2007 Taproot Literary Fiction competition and is published in Taproot The Healing Tree #20.

Lalita Noronha,a two-time Maryland Literary Arts Award winner and author of the short story collection, When Monsoons Cry, reads an excerpt from a novel in progress.
